Its unique randomized pixel array mimics the organic look of film while minimizing moiré and digital artifacts. The larger sensor also provides shallower depth of field, allowing for stronger subject isolation and natural background blur.

Optimized Audio & 6K Video

Tailored for modern content creation, the X-M5 excels in both sound and video. It features three built-in microphones with four directional sound modes—Surround, Front Priority, Back Priority, and Front & Back Priority—for flexible audio capture. A 3.5mm mic input expands audio options, while in-camera processing enhances voice clarity and reduces background noise.

For video, the X-M5 records open-gate 6.2K footage at up to 29.97 fps, maximizing the full 3:2 sensor for high-resolution results. Creator-focused features include:
