Seller Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to sellers using Avedson Marketplace.

1. Agreement and Acceptance

These Seller Terms and Conditions govern your use of Avedson Marketplace as a seller. By submitting a seller application, listing products, or continuing to use seller tools, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, do not continue with seller registration or seller account activity.

Plain language summary: By clicking "I Agree," you are entering a binding agreement with Avedson for marketplace selling activities.

2. Seller Eligibility and Account Information

  • You must provide accurate and current business and contact information.
  • You may be asked to provide documents (for example, business registration, identity, or tax-related records) as part of verification.
  • You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and restricting unauthorized access.
  • Avedson may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke seller access when required for security, legal, policy, or quality reasons.

3. Product Listings and Seller Responsibilities

  • Listings must be truthful, complete, and not misleading (including title, images, condition, and specifications).
  • You are responsible for inventory accuracy, fulfillment readiness, lawful sourcing, and item quality.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements for products you list.
  • Avedson may edit, limit, hide, or remove listings that violate policy, law, or marketplace quality standards.

4. Fees, Commissions, and Billing

Avedson may charge seller fees, commissions, service charges, or related marketplace fees as disclosed in your seller onboarding materials, dashboard, or written agreement with Avedson.

  • Applicable charges may depend on product category, order type, promotions, returns, and other operational factors.
  • Any stated percentages or fee schedules may be updated according to these terms and published notices.
  • Net proceeds, adjustments, and offsets may apply where permitted by policy or law.

Important: Fee details should always be confirmed in your current seller dashboard or latest written agreement.

5. Restricted and Prohibited Products

The following categories are prohibited, and additional restrictions may apply by law or marketplace policy:

  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, and related components
  • Prescription drugs and unauthorized medical products
  • Recalled, stolen, counterfeit, or infringing goods
  • Tobacco products and alcoholic beverages where prohibited
  • Hazardous materials, explosives, and unsafe chemicals
  • Offensive, illegal, or otherwise prohibited content
  • Products derived from endangered species or protected wildlife

Avedson may update restricted product policies at any time to reflect legal and operational requirements.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Customer Issues

Sellers are expected to support Avedson customer service and returns processes in good faith.

  • Return and refund eligibility may follow applicable storefront policies and category rules.
  • You must cooperate with requests for order clarification, issue resolution, and return handling.
  • Avedson may issue customer-facing resolutions where required under policy, law, or platform protection standards.

7. Confidentiality and Data Use

  • Both parties must protect confidential business information received through the seller relationship.
  • Seller access to customer data is limited to order fulfillment and support purposes permitted by policy.
  • Unauthorized use, disclosure, resale, or retention of protected data is prohibited.

8. Suspension, Termination, and Policy Enforcement

Avedson may investigate potential policy violations and take enforcement actions, including:

  • Listing suppression or removal
  • Temporary account restrictions
  • Seller suspension or termination

Either party may end the seller relationship in accordance with written notice terms, unless immediate action is required for legal, fraud, safety, or material breach reasons.

9. Changes to These Terms

Avedson may revise these Seller Terms and Conditions from time to time. Material updates may be posted on this page and/or shared through seller communications. Continued seller use after an effective update date means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by applicable laws in relevant operating jurisdictions of Avedson. Disputes will be handled under applicable law and any valid dispute resolution procedure contained in your written agreement with Avedson.
