Dark Walnut Classic Wood Interior Stain is designed to enrich the natural grain of interior wood surfaces such as furniture, cabinets, doors, and trim, providing a deep, rich color that enhances the wood grain beautifully. This stain is easy to apply using a high-quality synthetic brush, lint-free cloth, or foam applicator, allowing for customization of color intensity with additional coats. Each gallon covers up to 600 sq. ft., and it can be recoated in just 2 hours to deepen the color. Its semi-transparent formula ensures the wood grain remains visible, while penetrating deeply to provide long-lasting protection against wear and tear. Available in a range of timeless colors, it allows for seamless matching with previously stained projects. Most surfaces or projects typically require 2 coats, though additional coats can be applied for a more customized appearance. The final coat dries within 4 hours, facilitating efficient project completion. For added durability and protection, polyurethane may be applied. It is recommended to allow 8 hours before applying oil-based polyurethane and 24 hours before water-based polyurethane after the final coat of stain to ensure optimal performance and finish.
