Services Provided

Pick-Up at the Store:

Customers have the option to pick up their items directly from the store. Sellers must clearly indicate which items are available for pick-up and provide appropriate instructions to customers.

Shipping Services:

Avedson staff will handle the shipment of items to the post office on behalf of the seller. Sellers are responsible for properly packing their products before Avedson staff handle the drop-off and shipping at the post office.

 

Mechanics

Product Inventory Lists:

Sellers must maintain and provide a detailed list of their product inventory. This includes using the provided inventory form, which must be filled out completely with all relevant product details. Accurate inventory lists help ensure that all items are accounted for and properly managed.

 

Pick-Up Pricing Details:

Sellers must detail the prices for items available for pick-up at the store. This involves completing the fill-out form at the Avedson Pickup point, ensuring that customers are aware of the pricing and any associated fees.

 

Online Storefront Requirement:

Sellers must maintain an online storefront on the Avedson Marketplace website. This requirement is specifically applicable in Saipan. Sellers must have a storefront to be eligible for the GBA program. The online storefront serves as the primary platform for transactions and product listings.

 

Transaction Handling:

All sales transactions must be conducted through the seller’s storefront on the Avedson Marketplace. This ensures a standardized and secure process for handling payments and tracking sales.

 

Item and Display Responsibility:

Sellers are responsible for their items and display racks. To ensure the condition of their products, sellers must provide their own portable display rack or rent an Avedson display rack. Proper display and maintenance of items help attract customers and preserve product quality.

 

Physical Inventory:

Sellers must conduct weekly or monthly physical inventory checks of their products. Regular inventory checks help maintain accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies or issues promptly.

 

Business Gross Receipts Tax :

The owner/seller is responsible for paying the monthly Business Gross Receipts Tax. Compliance with tax regulations is mandatory and ensures the seller’s business operates legally and transparently.

 

Space Limitations:

The maximum size of the allocated space is 4’x4’x4’ (WxLxH). Sellers must ensure that their product displays fit within this space to be eligible for the GBA program. This size limitation helps maintain an organized and manageable marketplace environment.

 

Packing for Shipping:

Sellers are responsible for packing their products for shipping. Avedson staff will handle the drop-off and shipping at the post office only. Proper packaging ensures that products are protected during transit and reach customers in good condition.

 

Quality Assurance

Product Inspection:

Avedson staff have the right to check and inspect the products physically to ensure the quality of the products. This inspection process helps maintain high standards within the marketplace and builds customer trust.

 

Compliance and Rejection Policy

Any counterfeit, duplicate, and non-compliant products are strictly prohibited. These items will be automatically rejected. Avedson adheres to legal and ethical standards to ensure that only legitimate products are sold.

 

Illegal and Prohibited Items:

Any items that are illegal or prohibited by law will be handed over to the relevant authorities. Sellers must ensure that all products comply with legal regulations to avoid legal consequences and maintain marketplace integrity.
