SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings offer an easy and quick solution to pipe connections, requiring only half the effort for insertion while withstanding double the burst pressure. The fittings feature a newly designed stainless-steel retainer, providing added strength and durability, and a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body design makes it easier to insert the pipe, without the need for a PEX tube liner. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are needed for installation. They are the fastest method to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes. After installation, the fitting can be rotated for quick adjustments, and can be removed easily with a disconnect tool, making it possible to change or reuse fittings and valves. SharkBite Max fittings outperform conventional plumbing methods, especially when compared to first-generation SharkBite products.
