SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings offer the quickest and most efficient way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT pipes. Featuring a newly designed stainless steel collet retainer, these fittings provide enhanced strength and durability with a 400 PSI pressure rating. The innovative design eliminates the need for a PEX tube liner and reduces insertion force for easier installation. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools required. Once inserted, stainless steel teeth grip the pipe securely, while a specially formulated O-ring creates a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated after installation for easy adjustments and removed just as quickly using a disconnect tool, making changes or reuses simple.
