SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings provide a 250 psi pressure rating and do not require a PEX tube liner. They feature a newly designed stainless steel collet retainer for added strength and durability. With a re-engineered body, they allow for easier pipe insertion with less force. These fittings utilize stainless steel teeth to grip the pipe tightly, along with a specially formulated O-ring for a watertight seal. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required for installation.
