Makita introduces the 18V LXT Brushless 4-1/2" / 5" Paddle Switch X-LOCK Angle Grinder with AFT (tool only, XAG26Z), offering exceptional grinding performance. This angle grinder features X-LOCK Technology for quick, tool-free wheel changes using a click-mount and pull release lever. It's ideal for grinding and cutting various materials such as tile, concrete, pipe, and conduit. Powered by a Makita-built brushless motor, it delivers increased power, speed, and run time while extending tool life. The BL Brushless Motor eliminates carbon brushes, running cooler and more efficiently. Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT) stops the motor if the wheel rotation suddenly slows or stops. The XAG26Z includes a large, no-lock-on flush-mount paddle switch with a two-stage lock-off. An anti-restart function prevents the grinder from starting if a battery is installed while the paddle switch is in the ON position.
