The Makita 40V max XGT Brushless 1-9/16 in. AVT Rotary Hammer Kit (GRH05M1) offers a powerful cordless solution for heavy-duty concrete tasks. It provides the power, speed, and runtime of corded tools, but without the hassle of a cord. The GRH05M1 is equipped with Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT), which automatically shuts off the motor if the bit's rotation is unexpectedly halted, and Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) to minimize vibrations. AVT features an internal counterbalance that uses air pressure to move counterweight pistons in opposition to the drive piston, effectively reducing vibrations. Additionally, the vibration-absorbing back handle and side handle further contribute to vibration reduction. For enhanced durability in challenging job site conditions, Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is designed to provide improved resistance to dust and water. The Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) utilizes Bluetooth technology to enable wireless communication between the tool and a dust extractor.
