The pressure switch is designed to activate the pump when the water system reaches 40 psi (factory set) and deactivate it at 60 psi (factory set). It's compatible with both submersible well and jet pumps and can be wired for either 115-Volt or 230-Volt systems. It's imperative to use this switch alongside a well pressure tank for proper functionality. To ensure optimal performance, the air pressure in the well tank, when completely devoid of water, should be set to 38 psi; failure to do so may result in improper operation of the switch.
