SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings offer a quick and easy way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes with half the effort and double the burst pressure strength. With a newly designed stainless-steel retainer, these fittings provide enhanced durability and a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows for smoother installation without the need for a PEX tube liner. No soldering, crimping, unions, glue, or special tools are required. These fittings are ideal for fast installation, and the ability to rotate them after installation allows for easy adjustments. Removing the fitting is equally fast using a disconnect tool, making it simple to change or reuse fittings and valves. (SharkBite Max fittings are faster compared to traditional plumbing methods, with comparisons made to first-generation SharkBite push-to-connect products.)
