SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings enable easy pipe connections with half the effort while withstanding double the burst pressure. These fittings feature a newly designed stainless-steel retainer for added strength and durability, as well as a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows for easier pipe insertion without the need for a PEX tube liner. Installation requires no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. SharkBite Max is the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipe. Once installed, the fitting can be rotated for quick adjustments, and removing it is just as easy with a disconnect tool, allowing for reuse or replacement. SharkBite Max fittings outperform conventional plumbing methods, making them ideal for most installations.
