SharkBite Max push-to-connect ball valves offer the quickest and simplest way to install a water shut-off valve, whether for new installations or replacements. The upgraded stainless steel collet retainer enhances strength and durability, providing a 250 psi pressure rating. These fittings and valves don't require a PEX tube liner, and their redesigned body allows for easier, low-force pipe insertion. The quarter-turn lever handle enables swift water flow control, even in tight spaces. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are needed. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth securely grip it, while a specially formulated O-ring forms a watertight seal. The valve is rotatable after installation for easier adjustments, and removal is just as simple with a disconnect tool, allowing the valve to be reused or replaced.
