The SharkBite Max push-to-connect check valve is designed to prevent the reverse flow of water into your home. Featuring a newly engineered stainless steel collet retainer, it offers enhanced strength, durability, and a 250 PSI pressure rating. The innovative SharkBite Max design eliminates the need for a PEX tube liner while allowing for easier pipe insertion with reduced force. A single-lever quarter-turn handle enables quick and effortless water flow control, even in tight spaces. Installation is simple—no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools required. Once inserted (following the flow direction arrow), the stainless steel teeth grip the pipe securely while the specialized O-ring ensures a watertight seal. The valve can also be rotated after installation for easy adjustments, and removal is just as quick with a disconnect tool for reuse or replacement.
