SharkBite Max push-to-connect stop valves provide the fastest and easiest solution for connecting PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT stub-outs, enabling you to control and shut off water flow to fixtures or appliances. Featuring a newly designed stainless-steel collet retainer, these fittings offer enhanced strength and durability. SharkBite Max fittings and valves require no PEX tube liner, and their re-engineered body design allows for easier pipe insertion with less force. The single-lever quarter-turn handle provides quick water flow control, even in tight spaces. There’s no need for soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth securely grip the pipe while a specially formulated O-ring creates a watertight seal. The valve can be rotated post-installation for easy adjustments, and removal is just as simple using a disconnect tool, making it possible to reuse or replace the valve. SharkBite push-to-connect fittings are faster than traditional plumbing methods, with comparisons made to first-generation SharkBite products.
