SharkBite Max push-to-connect slip fittings offer the quickest solution for repairs on copper or CPVC pipes. These slip fittings allow you to remove only the damaged section of pipe (up to 2 in.) without replacing the entire pipe. Featuring a newly designed stainless-steel retainer for added strength and durability, these fittings provide a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body reduces the effort required for pipe insertion, making repairs even easier. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are needed for installation. The fitting can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments, and removal is just as fast using a disconnect tool, allowing fittings and valves to be changed or reused. SharkBite Max fittings are faster than traditional plumbing methods, as compared to first-generation SharkBite push-to-connect products.
