About This Product
SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings offer the quickest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT pipes. Featuring a newly designed stainless steel collet retainer, these fittings provide added strength and durability with a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows for easier installation, using less force and no need for a PEX tube liner. Installation is simple—no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth grip the pipe securely, while a specially formulated O-ring forms a watertight seal. The fitting is rotatable after installation for quick adjustments, and removal is easy with a disconnect tool, making it perfect for reusing fittings and valves.
