SharkBite Max push-to-connect ball valves offer the quickest and easiest installation for new or replacement water shut-off valves. The redesigned stainless steel collet retainer enhances strength and durability, offering a 250 psi pressure rating. These fittings and valves eliminate the need for a PEX tube liner, and their re-engineered body allows for easy pipe insertion with less force. The quarter-turn handle provides fast water flow control, even in tight spaces. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required. After the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth securely grip the pipe while an O-ring creates a watertight seal. The valve is rotatable after installation for adjustments, and can be quickly removed using a disconnect tool for easy changes or reuse.
