About This Product
The Pop-Up Drainage Emitter with Elbow is designed to effectively direct water away from structures, erosion-prone areas, and poorly-drained landscapes, releasing it downstream. The system connects to 3 in. sewer and drain pipes or 3 in. triple-wall pipes. When water pressure builds, the cap "pops up" up to 1 inch, discharging water at a flow rate of up to 56 GPM, then closes as the water flow subsides. The cap remains closed when not in use to prevent debris and rodents from entering the system and causing blockages. Its flat profile blends seamlessly into the landscape, and its rounded contours help reduce the risk of clogging. The emitter features internal ribs for added durability, a flange design to prevent turf overgrowth, and a weep hole to drain water in the elbow and prevent stagnation or freezing during cold weather. Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for the cap and cover, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for the elbow, the Pop-Up Drainage Emitter is part of a comprehensive drainage system for effective stormwater management.
