Round Drain Grate helps prevent leaves and debris from entering the system and potentially causing clogs, while draining light stormwater flows from small lawns, landscaped areas, patios, and walkways. This drain grate has an open surface area of 9.1 sq. in. and a flow rate of 28 GPM. It connects to the Speed Catch Basin Drain, 6 in. sewer and drain pipe, and fittings, as well as 6 in. single-wall corrugated pipe for a secure, soil-tight fit. Made of durable polyethylene, the grate is UV-treated to resist fading and cracking from sun exposure. ADA compliant and heel-proof, it's built to withstand the elements. As part of a complete drainage system, the grate effectively keeps debris out while allowing water to flow into drain pipes that carry the water to a discharge point, such as a pop-up emitter or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench.
