The 4 in. Square Drain Grate serves as the first line of defense in your drainage system. This sturdy grate blocks debris, such as leaves, from entering and clogging your drainage pipes while efficiently draining light stormwater flows from small lawns, landscaped areas, patios, and walkways. With a flow rate of 11 GPM and an open surface area of 3.5 sq. in., this square grate provides superior flow capacity compared to round grates of the same pipe diameter, thanks to its flared-out design. It connects securely to 3 in. sewer and drainpipes, single-wall corrugated pipes, and triple-wall pipes, offering a soil-tight fit. Ideal for areas with limited depth for a catch basin, the grate is ADA compliant and heel-proof. Made of durable polyethylene, it is treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking. This part of a comprehensive drainage system ensures water flows freely and prevents debris from clogging your pipes, directing excess water to a downstream discharge point, such as a pop-up emitter, dry well, or infiltration trench.
