Keep your hardscapes free of excess water with an attractive and easy-to-install Slim Channel Drain from NDS. This part of the NDS Profile Channel series captures light runoff flows from pool and spa areas, patios, and walkways, preventing slippery mildew, concrete erosion, and potential property damage. Channel drains, also known as trench drains, are narrow drains designed for surface drainage on flat areas like hardscapes. As part of a complete drainage system, they direct water to drain pipes that carry it downstream, either to discharge via a pop-up emitter or percolate into the ground using a dry well or infiltration trench. The Slim Channel Drain Kit includes a preassembled polyvinyl chloride channel drain with slotted polypropylene grates, 2 end caps/outlets, 2 anchor clips, 1 coupling, and 1 bottom outlet. Solvent-weld the channel with PVC glue for a watertight connection, and the snap-in grates make it easy to clean the system.
