Miracle-Gro Garden Soil All Purpose helps grow bigger, more beautiful plants by feeding them for up to 3 months and improving the existing soil to promote strong root development. Ideal for in-ground use, this soil works well for a variety of outdoor plants including flowers, annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs. To apply, spread 2-3 inches of soil over your garden bed or other in-ground areas, and mix it into the top 6-8 inches of native soil. When planting, dig a hole twice the width of the container or root ball and blend a 50:50 mix of garden soil and native soil. For garden bed amendments, apply a 3-inch layer of the soil and work it into the top 6 inches. Two 2 cu. ft. bags cover 24 sq. ft. at a 2-inch depth, or three bags at a 3-inch depth. *Results are based on comparison with unfed plants.
