The XRJ04Z features a long 1-1/4 in. stroke length for improved cutting efficiency and a refined crank mechanism to minimize blade deflection and reduce vibration. 

Convenience features include a large 2-finger variable speed trigger, an electric brake, and tool-less blade changes for quicker blade installation and removal. Makitas 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their category, ensuring more work time and less downtime.
