The Makita 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver (model XDT11Z, tool only; battery sold separately) combines power and speed in a compact design, ideal for various driving and fastening tasks. It is part of Makita's extensive 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the largest cordless tool lineup powered by an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style battery.
These batteries feature some of the fastest charge times in their category, ensuring more work time and less downtime on the charger. Makita's Star Protection Computer Controls enhance tool performance and extend battery life by allowing real-time data exchange between the tool and battery. This system helps protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.
The tool is compatible with Makita 18-Volt LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries marked with the star symbol, indicating Star Protection technology.
The XDT11Z includes a 4-pole motor with variable speeds (0-2,900 RPM and 0-3,500 IPM), providing 1,460 in./lbs. of MAX Torque. Weighing only 2.8 lbs. (with battery, sold separately) and measuring 5-3/8 inches in length, it features a compact, ergonomic design that reduces operator fatigue and includes a rubberized soft grip for added comfort during use.
