The 1 in. by 3/4 in. ProPress copper reducer offers a secure connection between different copper tube sizes. Designed for use with ASTM B88 and B75 copper tubing, it allows for a smooth transition between varying tube diameters. With press connections, installation becomes quick and efficient, without the need for calibration, flames, or heavy equipment. The ProPress copper reducer can be installed in four simple steps: cut the copper tube to size, remove burrs and surface imperfections, measure and mark the fitting depth, and use a press tool to create a secure connection. Viega Smart Connect technology ensures correct connections by identifying unpressed fittings during pressure testing, minimizing callbacks. Approved to the highest industry codes and standards, including IPC, UPC, and NSF, Viega ProPress reducers are trusted by professionals worldwide for a variety of plumbing and HVAC applications.
