SharkBite Max push-to-connect ball valves offer a quick and easy way to install new or replacement water shut-off valves. Featuring a newly designed stainless steel collet retainer for added strength and durability, these valves have a 250 psi pressure rating. SharkBite Max fittings and valves eliminate the need for PEX tube liners and require less force for pipe insertion due to the re-engineered body design. The single-lever quarter-turn handle provides easy and efficient water flow control, even in tight spaces. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are necessary. The stainless steel teeth securely grip the pipe while the O-ring compresses to create a watertight seal. The valve is rotatable after installation for quick adjustments and can be easily removed with a disconnect tool for reuse.
