About This Product
SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings offer the quickest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipes. Featuring a newly designed stainless steel collet retainer, these fittings deliver enhanced strength and durability, with a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body design allows for easier pipe insertion with less force, eliminating the need for a PEX tube liner. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are necessary. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth securely grip the pipe while a specially formulated O-ring creates a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated after installation for easy adjustments, and removal is just as simple with a disconnect tool—making it easy to change or reuse fittings and valves.
