OATEY PVC Heavy-Duty Medium Set Clear Cement is a robust solvent cement designed for various applications including DWV, pressure pipe, potable water, and electrical installations. Its thick formula effectively fills gaps in large diameter pipe and loose-fitting joints, ensuring a strong bond. The included in-lid dauber simplifies application. This clear cement can solvent weld all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings with interference fit up to 18 inches in diameter for non-pressure applications and up to 12 inches for pressure pipes. It performs optimally within a temperature range of 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C) and meets stringent environmental standards such as UL GREENGUARD Gold and low VOC requirements. Additionally, it complies with ASTM standard D2564 and NSF/ANSI 61 health effects requirements, ensuring reliability and safety in plumbing and construction projects.
