The Oatey 16 oz. Black ABS Cement is a medium-bodied solvent cement designed for bonding ABS pipe and fittings in non-pressure applications. It is formulated to provide excellent gap filling capabilities and is suitable for use on all schedules and classes of ABS pipe up to 6 inches in diameter with interference fit. This cement features a low-V.O.C. formulation that meets rigorous environmental standards including California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40. It operates effectively within a recommended application temperature range of 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C) and adheres to ASTM D-2235 standards. The black color makes it easy to identify application areas on ABS piping. All Oatey solvent cement and primer products are UL Greenguard Gold certified, ensuring high indoor air quality standards are met.
