OATEY PVC Heavy-Duty Medium Set Clear Cement is a versatile solvent cement ideal for a wide range of applications including DWV, pressure pipe, potable water, and electrical installations. Its thick formula effectively fills gaps in large diameter pipe and loose-fitting joints, ensuring a strong and reliable bond. This clear cement can be used to solvent weld all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings, accommodating interference fits up to 18 inches in diameter for non-pressure applications and up to 12 inches for pressure pipes. The included in-lid dauber facilitates easy application. It operates optimally within a recommended temperature range of 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C) and meets rigorous environmental standards, including UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for low VOC emissions. Additionally, it complies with ASTM Standard D2564 and NSF/ANSI 61 health effects requirements, ensuring safety and performance in plumbing and construction projects.
