The Pop-Up Drainage Emitter with Elbow is designed to discharge water captured upstream, directing it away from structures, erosion-prone areas, and poor drainage zones. This emitter connects to 4-inch sewer and drain pipes or 4-inch triple-wall pipes. As water pressure builds, the cap "pops up" to release water at rates up to 56 GPM and closes once the flow diminishes. The cap remains closed when not in use, preventing debris and rodents from clogging the drainage system. Its flat profile ensures the emitter blends into the landscape, and the internal contours reduce clogging potential while providing durability. The flange design prevents grass overgrowth, and the weep hole at the elbow helps drain any remaining water to avoid stagnation or freezing in colder weather. Made with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for the cap and cover, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for the elbow, this emitter is a reliable solution for stormwater management, working in conjunction with other drainage components like catch basins and trench drains.
