The 6 in. Atrium Drain Grate is specifically designed to effectively drain areas filled with heavy mulch, while trapping leaves, mulch, and other debris at the base. The raised dome grate allows water to flow through the top into the drain pipe, ensuring proper drainage. Perfect for handling moderate stormwater flows, this grate is ideal for mulched landscape beds, natural areas, and window wells. With a 28 sq. in. open surface area and a flow rate of 87 GPM, it efficiently manages water runoff. The grate connects to the Spee-D Catch Basin Drain, 6 in. sewer and drain pipes, fittings, and 6 in. single-wall corrugated pipes for a secure, soil-tight fit. Constructed from durable polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors, this drain grate resists fading and cracking from sun exposure. It forms part of a comprehensive drainage system that blocks debris while facilitating water flow through the pipes, which direct water to a discharge point such as a pop-up emitter or into the ground through a dry well or infiltration trench.
