Upon detecting smoke, the detector emits an 85-decibel alarm, accompanied by a flashing red LED light to alert you. The unit also features a test-hush button for testing the battery and silencing false alarms. It’s designed for easy installation with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket and provides a self-testing feature to ensure reliable performance.
At the end of its 10-year lifespan, the alarm will sound an end-of-life notification to remind you to replace it. This smoke detector meets the UL 217 standard and FCC requirements, ensuring top-level safety and reliability.
